Captain Eric Paull is a licensed charter boat captain, writer, and lifelong boater and fisherman. He grew up in The Portage Lakes of Ohio, where his father entrusted him with the family boat at a young age-sparking a lifelong passion for the water. That passion eventually led him to the Gulf Coast, where he now operates Saltwater Serenity Charters out of Navarre, Florida.Eric’s days are spent guiding families on dolphin-watching trips, fishing excursions, and documenting the lives of the dolphins in Pensacola Pass, with a special focus on Half Tail, the resilient dolphin at the heart of his debut children’s book. His encounters with dolphins, commitment to marine safety, and deep respect for conservation all inform his storytelling.In addition to being a captain and storyteller, Eric holds a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education.
