Elise Joy Jones, abused as a child and subsequently suffered for years with mental instability, body insecurities and low self-worth. The prayers and intervention of the saints availeth much on her behalf. Never giving up, Elise trudges through a murky sea of emotional damage and emerges to become the head of the Mt. Vernon, New York hospital HR department. She runs that department like a well-oiled machine. In spite of all her achievements, she still feels unworthy of love. So unworthy she never allows herself to hope for it.

Stepping out on faith for a new beginning, Samuel MaCoy, a young aspiring NICU Doctor moves to New York. He’s chosen solitude for a companion, for he deemed himself incapable of discerning the difference between good or bad women. He is plagued with of a recurring dream of a woman in an Emerald green dress he can’t escape. He’s been instructed to pray for her, which he finds ridiculous. She’s just a figment of his imagination, or is she?
