Antique shop owner and amateur sleuth, Holly Goodwin, finally has a very important conversation with Whitney, and discovers that her niece is as gifted as she is – but in a very different way. Holly is committed to helping Whitney learn how to live with her own special gift, but she isn’t sure how to go about it, especially when they discover that their gifts are more powerful when combined.

While Whitney is at the antique shop, her gift awakens a mystery ghost and Holly has to deal with the consequences of having a haunted business while trying to track down the ghost so that she can figure out just why it’s so angry.

She discovers that a local death that was assumed to be from natural causes was actually a murder, and she has to solve the case and lay the ghost to rest before the secret about her family’s gifts gets out.
