Dynamic Taekwondo

This book is aimed equally at beginners in martial arts as well as experienced instructors.
The movement sequences are described in detail and explained step by step, enabling beginners to systematically learn the techniques. Each sequence is documented with a photograph and briefly explained. Additional front and side view photographs further deepen the understanding of each technique.

Various stretching methods – including active and passive stretching – are also presented comprehensively and illustrated with numerous photographs.

A dedicated chapter focuses on teaching methods, specifically addressing instructors. Through practical examples, it demonstrates which approach is best suited to different situations. In the chapter on practice methods, various approaches are introduced that can be directly applied in lessons.

To prepare both students and instructors optimally for examinations, the book provides a detailed description of the individual examination disciplines.

The author, Jörg Buchowski, has been practicing Taekwondo since 1985. He holds the 5th Dan in Taekwondo and the 1st Dan in Hapkido. Since 2000, he has been active as an instructor. Over the course of his career, he has won both national and international titles in full-contact competitions as well as in patterns.
