Sam Hamm is a celebrated screenwriter best known for penning the screenplay to Tim Burton’s Batman (1989), which helped redefine the character for a new generation. His work on Batman: Blind Justice marked his debut in comics, bringing cinematic storytelling, psychological nuance, and espionage intrigue to the page. Hamm’s interpretation of Bruce Wayne introduced Henri Ducard, a key figure later adapted into Batman Begins, and deepened the mythos with a focus on moral ambiguity and personal history.
