The Bird Spotter cards feature 57 beautiful birds from all over the world – some you’re sure to know, and others may be a little less familiar. Each card features eight birds and there will always be one, and only one, matching bird between any two cards.

To play the game, compare two cards and be first to spot the bird that is featured on both. There are three ways to play Bird Spotter, all suitable for 2–8 players, and they all rely on being the fastest to spot that one matching bird.

You don’t have to be an avian expert to play! After a few rounds you’ll begin to pick up the birds’ names but in the meantime, identifiers like ‘red beak’, ‘pointy tail’ and ‘green one’ are all perfectly acceptable!

Author Biography

Namasri Niumim was born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, and graduated from King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, in the School of Architecture and Design. She discovered the joy of gouache painting in 2016 and has worked with gouache ever since.
