Author Biography

Shri Thomas Kannattumadom is a distinguished quality professional in the aerospace sector with over four decades of experience in quality assurance, audit, and training. He is a certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 and AS9100D, registered with International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG)-Online Aerospace Supplier Information System (OASIS) (OIN 6144704664) and approved by PROBITAS/IAQG. He also holds the prestigious Aerospace Industry Experienced Auditor (AIEA) certification (Cert. No. 1619032761). Over the past 16 years, Mr. Thomas has conducted more than 1000 man-days of aerospace quality audits across India, Sri Lanka, the UAE, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Japan, and the UK for AS9100D/EN9100:2018 certifications. His commitment to excellence in the field has been acknowledged by the Quality Council of India (QCI), which appointed him as a SAMAR Assessor in 2023. He is a visiting faculty member at HAL Management Academy, Bangalore, and has delivered over 300 training days to major organizations, including Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) labs, HAL divisions, and other public and private aviation, space, and defense institutions.
