Embracing the solace and joy given by the simple and clear happy-ending fairytales she reads as a child, she wrote this story to bring back the forgotten fairytale to adults. However, without neglecting the chasm between the world of simple fairytales and the reality, she deeply looked into the complexity and humaneness through the two contrasting conclusions of happy ending and sad ending. The works of Yuju Lim aspiring that adults can dream of their own happy ending in reality and sometimes find the small flame of hope in bitter conclusions do not end as simple stories but present the courage and philosophical implications to readers so that they can look into their own lives again.
