Member"Baytery is easy to drain on Balance Surveillance setting. Even I placed the motion detection sensitivity to level 2 only. It stillI keep on recording passing road vehicles. ended up turning it off and just using Optimal Battery Life power managment setting."
"Easy installation, works seamlessly with my Eufy App and easy to manage with my existing Eufy door locks. As I had an existing doorbell with an indoor mechanical chime (Honeywell D117), I connected the E340 to the existing power supply but the voltage is only 12 VAC. This seems enough to charge the E340 but not enough to operate my existing indoor mechanical chime at the same audible pitch it used to have. Currently, I have it operating without the indoor chime in the circuit, so it charges the E340 successfully. I intend to chase up a transformer that has the 18 VAC output required to supply the indoor chime as well. I like the idea of the modern door bell with the old style ding dong in the house!"
Member"We have an all-Eufy camera setup, and actually began with the T8213 doorbell and have added 9 other cameras. The T8213 was originally an absolute pain to set up with our S380 Homebase, although when the firmware was eventually updated it worked fine. However, after 3 or 4 years, the battery now only has a life of a few days and it has difficulty maintaining connection either via WI-FI or with the HomeBase itself. The E340 was an absolute delight to set up and install, it has a wider lens coverage, and to my mind, a better quality picture. And best of all, it has a replaceable battery! We are delighted with the Eufy range and with the iPhone/iPad app. Highly recommend."
