Corythosaurus was a hadrosaurid, or duck-billed dinosaur, that lived during the Late Cretaceous period in what is now North America. It’s most famous for its large, bony crest, which likely helped with vocalization and species recognition.
Corythosaurus was a plant-eater that could walk on both two and four legs and lived in large herds. Fossils have provided extensive insight into its anatomy and behavior, including skin impressions and skeletal structure.
