I bought the Pro Flight Throttle Quadrant to simulate twin engine planes in Flight Simulator X, since I already have the Yoke & Quadrant set. It works well even without any of the included software, and the switches are good for flaps/cowl/spoilers/gear etc.
When I received my quadrant two of the rubber feet had fallen off, but I was able to easily glue these back on. The left axis doesn't extend all the way to the top, it leaves about a 3mm gap – this isn't too much of a problem though and I don't feel it's worth sending back.
Overall, I'd recommend this quadrant if you're looking to simulate multi-engine planes. If you use third party software (eg. FSUIPC) you can extend the functionality of this further to make use of the detents to allow reverse thrust & propeller feathering too. Although a little pricey, it's probably the best on the market right now -limited though the market is.
