Even on sale at $49, they are only 50c cheaper (by ratio) than buying them from the xbox directly. At normal price there is a premium for having a card.

2000 points online = $33.

Having said that, the points are essential for all that fantastic extra content you can get.

You're essentially buying MS Dollars.

However when that money is on sale, it's super awesome!

You can use them to buy all sorts of downloads off of Xbox Live. However major downloads are are always 1600 points and points only come in 1500 and 3000 point increments. It would be nicer if they provided point values that people actually need.

Whatever you want to buy, you will always have 100 points too few.

Can my son use these, I read that in NZ child accounts cant buy points or use downloadable content. Love Mighty Ape cheers
