Author Biography:

Conrad C. Fink is William S. Morris Professor of Newspaper Strategy and Management at the College of Journalism at the University of Geo rgia. He was with the Associated Press for over 20 years, where he held a number of positions as rep orter, foreign correspondent, bureau chief, and vi ce president and secretary of the corporation. He is the author of a number of textbooks on journali sm, the media, and newspaper management. He is th e recipient of the Freedom Forum's Journalism Educ ator of the Year Award for 2002.
