Great albumn, love reminiscing with 80s music. Grat band, unheard of for years, sadly didn't get to the concert, this cd is the next best thing.

Description

Lead by prominent writer, singer and songwriter Andrew Fagan, The Mockers were a New Zealand musical institution of the early-mid 80s. Evolving out of the punk rock band ‘The Ambitious Vegetables’ they became a mainstay of kiwi music for near on a decade. The song-writing partnership of Gareth Curtis & Andrew Fagan (along with a rotating cast of band members) produced a string of 80’s hum along hits, including Woke Up Today, The Good Old Days, Cleopatra, Alvison Park, Swear It’s True, Forever Tuesday Morning, One Black Friday, Seven Years Not Wasted, Another Boring Day In The Amazon and Sheild Yourself. Woke Up Today: The Definitive Collection compiles the band’s most distinctive tracks from the era on one album, which will undoubtedly be a must-have item in any comprehensive kiwi music collection.
