I bought this for my wife and she wasn't disappointed. Nice to have some local birds included, and the nectar adds another twist to the gameplay. Takes 1 game to learn the way to play (about 1–1 1/4 hours per game) then each game is different after that with different goals and cards. Thoroughly recommend it

After already loving Wingspan, Oceania has added an extra level of fun and makes it easier to score big. The nectar adds to the game and makes it easier if the original cards dealt aren’t the greatest.
With the addition of nectar, the new birds, the game-end bird types, the new bonus cards and round-end goals (among other stuff in the pack) – this is a really worthwhile expansion to grab. It adds a lot of extra strategy to score points from, which just expands the original experience. Definitely recommend this if you enjoyed the base game
Stonemeier has made some real effort to balance the three habitats by introducing a new food type, and the amount of resources each habitat gives, so it's no longer ‘egg spamming’ on the last round.
This is our gaming group's favourite expansion for our favourite game! What's not to love? There are no downsides, in our opinions, but lots of cool new local birds, and a new food/game play option/way of gaining points to enjoy.
Love the expansion, but unfortunately this was an old edition with plastic eggs (not clear from the description) instead of the wooden eggs. Very annoying
Great thinking game. Really enjoy it.
This game is both beautiful and edifying. Sure, the eggs are cute, and it's easy to pick up, but you also get the chance to learn something new about all heaps of different birds. Have fun, learn impressive facts, play this game!
