When the Iron Eagle Flies by Ayya Khema
Sorry, this product is not currently available to order

From the author of the highly acclaimed Being Nobody, Going Nowhere, this is a complete meditation course pointing the reader toward the middle path: the path of simplicity and awareness. The teachings of the Buddha are unfolded here simply and free of jargon, for a contemporary world where our fevered pursuit of pleasure and comfort leaves us, as she points out, 'like children playing in a house on fire, refusing to let go of our toys'.

Author Biography

Born in Berlin in 1923, Ayya Khema was ordained as a nun in Sri Lanka in 1979 and established several Buddhist centers, including Parappuduwa Nuns Island in Sri Lanka and Buddha Haus in Germany. She is the author of twenty-five books including the best-selling "Being Nobody, Going Nowhere." She passed away in 1997.
