Eloisa James based her hero in this story on Gregory House from the hit TV series House MD. And she did an amazing job of it. The dry wit is perfect, the surrounding cast of characters plays off well against the lead role, and of course, the heroine is his equal in every way. As with House, you also learn a bit of interesting medicine (although somewhat dated in this case). LOVED this book. If you think House is great TV, but he really needs his own happy ending, you'll love this book too. Five stars, absolutely.
