Author Biography

Fiona Hayes has illustrated, designed and written children's books for nearly 20 years, and has worked with children and adults on a wide range of craft projects. She has always loved making things, from baking to all sorts of crafts. From her point of view, things you make are always better than anything you can buy, and best of all, creating wonderful stuff makes you and everyone else smile!Carolyn Gavin grew up in South Africa, which gave her plenty of warm memories of exotic color, rich imagery, and intense contrast. All these memories were filtered through her creativity and became an integral part of her current work. She is the illustrator behind Ecojot Stationery, a company she created with her brother, and has designed fabric collections, and much more. She now lives in Toronto with her husband where she enjoys music, movies, gardening, yoga and riding her bike, all of which give her inspiration for future projects. Jessica Secheret was born in the late 1970s in a small French town and currently lives in Paris with her daughter, drawing for children's books, magazines and advertising in France and abroad.
