H. E. Turner lives in Seattle, Washington. She earned a B.A. from Mount Holyoke College, studying music, philosophy and English; and an M.A.T. from the Harvard-Radcliffe School of Education. She taught music in private and public schools, ran a U.S. Army Service Club in Germany, advised pre-major students at the University of Washington, published "The Puget Sound Quarterly," and spent 27 years working in computer business applications. She has one son and one granddaughter. H.E. Turner is currently an active playwright, a member of Seattle Playwrights' Studio. Two of her plays have been produced in the Seattle area.
