"An amazing start to a new line of stories in W40K."
5 stars"

To think that these 3 stories are Dan Abnetts first foray into the warhammer 40k universe is astounding. The attention to detail and amazing fleshing out of characters, actually makes you feel for each individual. It makes you actually feel sad when someone dies tragically, or cheer out loud when the Tanith are triumphant against inumerable odds. A great read for people of all ages.

"A Captivating Epic"

It's crazy to think that these 3 books are some of Abnett's earliest work! Great character development, a high sense of justice, and amidst all of the action and tragedy there is a general good feel to these novels that kept me reading for hours on end.

"Amazing first series"

These 3 novels being the first Dan Abnett has written are excellent. The characters are engaging and the action keeps coming, especially in the 3rd.

The only bad thing was I finished reading it after a few days

This omnibus edition of the first three Gaunt's Ghosts novels follows the story of the Tanith First-and-Only regiment (nicknamed the Ghosts) and their charismatic commissar, Ibram Gaunt. As they travel from warzone to warzone in the Chaos-infested Sabbat Worlds system, the Ghosts must not only carry out the most dangerous of missions but also survive the deady politics of the Imperial Guard.

Collects the first three Gaunt’s Ghosts novels, First and only, Ghostmaker and Necropolis, in one softback volume.
