Author Biography:

Author and poet, Kenneth Old, was born in Cornwall, England. Military service took him to India/Pakistan where he returned as a civil engineer in 1953 and remained until 1990. Ken and his wife Marie were missionaries with the Presbyterian Church of North America (now PC(USA)). They were involved in the education of young men in technical and manual skills. He received an O.B.E. (Order of the British Empire) from the Queen for his work in education and community development in the Punjab. A year after Marie's death in 1997, Ken remarried. He and his wife Patty lived in a Tudor farmhouse in Kent, England where he enjoyed writing and growing roses until his death in 2007. You will also want to read Ken Old's book of beautiful inspirational poetry, "Footprints in the Dust."
