Courses in cooking, sewing and manual training for the seventh and eighth grades are outlined ia the Syllabus for Elementary sohools. These courses are entitled to have their work considered as one-half the value of the work required in, these subjects in the aca demic course, and on completing the required number of hours. In such subjects after entering the highs-chool the pupils are entitled to receive the full academic credit allowed. Courses in elementary agriculture are Offered in schools located in the Open country. The Operation of such courses is in its initial stage.
