Old folk friendly, but good for a whole family laugh as well and with the great Dawn French as the vicar lead. This comedy has good value fun with weird-as-but-funny and endearing characters who have probably got some of their skewed personalities due to generations of inbreeding within the quaint village setting of Dibley. Definitely recommended for those cold winter nights when nothing good is on the telly and you just can't be bothered to get outside :)

The divine Dawn French stars as this most irreverent reverend in Richard Curtis's heavenly, Emmy Award-winning comedy full of gloriously daft characters. This new DVD release includes all the episodes from the second series: Engagement, Dibley Live, Celebrity Vicar and Love & Marriage along with two extended length specials, The Easter Bunny and The Christmas Lunch Incident.

Alice and Hugo have been stuck for a decade "gazing soppily at each other" and Geraldine has decided that someone needs to play cupid - but will the Teletubbies really be bridesmaids? Meanwhile Geraldine is about to learn the heavy price for Christmas kindness when she agrees to attend three separate lunches. Even the Vicar has trouble swallowing that much hospitality. Controversy also strikes the village of Dibley: is the Easter Bunny real or is it a figment of Alice 'Brainless' Tinkers pathetic imagination?
