George R. Taylor is professor and head of Department of Special Education at Coppin State College and Core Faculty at the Union Institute. He received a B.S. degree in elementary education in 1959 from Fayettesville State University, and Master's and Ph.D. degrees in education psychology and special education in 1967 and 1969, respectively, from the Catholic University of America. Professor Taylor taught in and chaired the Department of Special Education for 30 years. He has written numerous articles fro professional journals and is the author of numerous books.
