Upholstery is a satisfying combination of the technical, creative - and highly addictive! There is nothing to match the pleasure of building something from scratch or bringing back to life with your own hands stools, ottomans, much-loved sofas and chairs and adding your own stylistic flourishes. For the beginner inspired to renovate, update or restore an existing piece of upholstery, this practical new guide by best-selling author David James is the essential reference to everything the aspiring upholsterer needs to know. Whether a student of the craft or a DIY enthusiast, the techniques and projects in this book will enhance your appreciation of the challenges and possibilities of working with upholstered furniture.
