This film shows how the war began, between the vampires and the lycans. Really enjoyed this film and thought it was an excellent beginning point for the other two.

I love this movie because it was filmed in South Auckland! I visited the location, saw the props so I knew what came when and what it meant. This is a prequel to the other two movies. The usual vampire/werewolf war. Its a harsh version of “Twilight” almost. Nevertheless I loved the movie. It was fun to watch but I do remember a lot of the movie being cut out. The only downside is that it is really short. It will help you understand the previous two movies better.

Each movie in the UNDERWORLD series is brilliantly crafted, the special effects, action and fabulous cast will leave you wanting more at the end of each movie.

Even though its number 3? In the trilogy, it really should have been number one. Its the prequel to the first two.. giving you as the viewer insight into how the whole War between the Vampires and the Lycans (werewolves) started.

It leads Viktor to unleash his wrath upon his Daughter, it leads Lucien to start an uprising amongst the other “slaves” and it brings about the War that will ensure that nothing is ever the same again. Bringing about a series of events that will forever change Lucien.
