**London-based duo Oh Wonder began as a writing project, when Josephine Vander Gucht and Anthony West set out to write, record and release one song every month for a year, hoping to pitch the songs to other artists.*
Three months into their song-a-month challenge, however, they had established an international audience who were attentively awaiting new music on the first of each month turning them into reluctant pop stars.
Oh Wonder first won over a league of Australian fans in 2016, where they played to packed out audiences at The Falls Music & Arts Festival, as well as their own sold out debut headline shows.
‘Ultralife’ is Oh Wonder's extraordinary second album.
Written in New York and London and entirely composed, produced and mixed by the duo, ‘Ultralife’ takes the hallmarks of the band's experimental debut – its hypnotic dual vocals, its exposed, emotional lyrics, its bewitching, ethereal beauty – and adds the weight of experience, the confidence of success and the coherence that comes from forward planning.
