Description

Ultimo and Vice are Karakuri Doji, the mechanical embodiment of pure good and pure evil, devoid of human emotions that can cloud one's judgment. Their purpose: to battle to the death to prove once and for all whether good or evil is the most powerful force in the universe. In a trip to the future to try to avert the errors of the past, Yamato, Ultimo's master, is shocked to discover that his high school crush Sayama is in fact a close relation of the evil puppet master Dunstan. Then, when he joins with Ultimo to create a powerful new weapon called God Ultimo Frontal Till Dawn, Yamato finds he must reconcile his feelings for his classmate Rune-an agent of evil-and his crush on Sayama!

Author Biography

Unconventional author/artist Hiroyuki Takei began his career by winning the coveted Hop Step Award (a monthly award given by WEEKLY SHONEN JUMP for amateur artists) and the Osamu Tezuka Award (named after the famous artist of the same name). After working as an assistant to famed artist Nobuhiro Watsuki, Takei debuted in WEEKLY SHONEN JUMP in 1997 with BUTSU ZONE, an action series based on Buddhist mythology. His multicultural adventure Manga, SHAMAN KING, which debuted in 1998, became a hit and was adapted into an anime TV series. Takei lists Osamu Tezuka, American comics, and robot anime among his many influences. Stan Lee is known to millions as the man whose superheroes propelled Marvel Comics to its prominent position in the comic book industry. Stan has written more than a dozen bestselling books for Simon & Schuster, Harper Collins and other major publishers. Presently he resides in Los Angeles, where he chairs Marvel Films and has served as co-executive producer for Marvel's many motion picture, television and animation projects.
