"Excellent value bundle of recognised and unrecognised classics"
4 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

I went for this bundle as it had a spread of games covering various interests in our household. The stand-outs are Assassins Creed and FarCry. Those two are going for around $20 each as budget titles. This bundle has them plus the additional titles at about the same price, so it works out well, if not quite a bargin. Beyond and Rayman are superb despite their lack of sales or critical acclaim at the time of original release. None of our family have yet played Prince of Persia, as the other four are taking up all the time allowed.

"Fantastic pack!"
5 stars"

All of these games are amazing in their own way, Beyond Good & Evil should be played by everyone at least once. Rayman 3 is a bundle of slapstick fun, Prince of Persia is one of the best platforming games ever, Far Cry is one of the most impressive shooters ever made and Assassin's Creed has an amazing story and fantastic freedom. Fantastic price for fantastic games

"Awesome!"

Assassins Creed is still an awesome game and it's where the franchise all began. I've heard Beyond for a while during the Perfect Dark era and wanted to try it out: was not disappointed. Rayman's adventures isn't a bore, and all the hype with Farcry 3 made me want to get into the franchise and so far so good! Good buy!

Description

Includes 5 iconic games from Ubisoft:

  • Assassin's Creed
  • Beyond Good & Evil
  • Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
  • Rayman 3
  • Far Cry

Assassin's Creed
The first game in the Assassin’s Creed franchise is set in 1191 AD, when the Third Crusade was tearing the Holy Land apart. Shrouded in secrecy and feared for their ruthlessness, the Assassins intend to stop the hostilities by suppressing both sides of the conflict. Players, assuming the role of the main character Altair, will have the power to throw their immediate environment into chaos and to shape events during this pivotal moment in history.

Beyond Good & Evil
The vast, peaceful planet of Hyllis has fallen under siege by a relentless alien race. After a devastating battle, a Hyllian named Jade is relieved to find that the planet's defense forces, the Alpha Sections, have saved the populace from certain destruction, as they have always done in this ages-long conflict. But when Jade takes a mysterious reconnaissance assignment for IRIS, a rebel organization that challenges the official version of events, she must question her own perception of truth. Angered and shaken by what she discovers, Jade begins a harrowing journey to get to the core of the conspiracy.

Armed with her camera, aikido staff, and resolute investigative skills, Jade sets out to expose the dark secrets behind these alien invasions and to liberate the minds of her deceived people. Pushed to the very edge of her physical and spiritual will, she soon discovers that even these limits are not what they seem.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
With Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Ubi Soft and Jordan Mechner are channeling their combined talents to breathe new life into the action/adventure genre. They're creating rich characters, white-knuckle action and a plot with more twists than the exotic, elaborate castle featured in the game," said Serge Hascoët, Editor in Chief, Ubi Soft Entertainment. "We're thrilled to move forward with the legendary Prince of Persia brand and eagerly await the launch of the next masterpiece from our world-famous Montreal studio.

A new Ubi Soft brand, Prince of Persia is credited with changing the face of computer gaming in the 1990s by introducing lifelike animation and story-driven action. The franchise was one of the first to gain success based on an appealing human lead character and a dramatic storyline. The first three games in the series boast combined sales of more than 3 million units.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time takes place within an exotic, mysterious world representing Persian architecture, animals and attire. After his father invades the palace of the Maharajah, the Prince, tricked by a treacherous vizier, uses a magic dagger to release the dangerous Sands of Time from an ornate hourglass. With the aid of a beautiful, mysterious, and potentially untrustworthy ally, players embody the Prince to recapture the Sands of Time and restore peace to the land.

Rayman 3
When Rayman's trusty sidekick Globox accidentally swallows the Lord of the Dark Lums, Rayman must face the Hoodlums, a bumbling yet deadly army of evil bent on recovering their leader from Globox and overtaking the land. Rayman's only chance? Quest to find a cure for the manic Globox, scour the land for unearthly new powers, and win the allegiance of a fierce warrior tribe known as the Knaaren.
