Two Worlds reviews

This game is just terrible, what a waste of my time and money. I normally dont give a review until i have finished it but this time ill make an exception. The combat is shocking the graphics look playstation 1 on a wide screen LCD and are almost ps2 on flat screen crt on high def. The controls aren't that great with back to access inventory and the like. the worst by far is the lag every time you get hit by an enemy, lag and thats on the single player mode all I have to say about the multiplayer is DONT! Oblivion on steroids yea right. I know what im talking about i've played for about 10 hours on save file total is probably 20 (dont ask me why) and in that time the game has frozen in loading about 5 times each losing me hours of gameplay because theres no autosave. In short dont buy this game ever. –10/10

OMG I played about 5 mins of this game and i was bored out of my mind. I know this game was hyped up a bit and thats the only reason i ordered this game. This game was ment to be oblivion on steriods HA what a joke.

This game seriously fails to deliver, the graphics are completely and utterly terrible, the combat is basic (okay, admittedly I played it for 30–40 min, I still feel robbed of that valuable time and $118 though), whatever you feel the game will deliver by looking at the back cover, trust me, it doesn't, what it does do is make you want to cringe every time you here the “ye olde american-english” voice cut scenes and gain a headache from squinting at the overall graphics and inventory screen trying to work out what one fuzzy shape is from another (that's with a good quality LCD TV). Overall a dissapointing product for an era where there's not really any excuse for a B grade console game any more.

Firstly, forget everything the other reviewer said. “Two Worlds is going to be awesome” he said. I have played the game, and it is a complete waste of time.

Imagine Diablo 2, with a different story line and really poor 3D graphics. Or alternatively, imagine Oblivion without the pretty, shiny next-gen graphics. Also, everyone in the game talks in olde english and it quickly gets irritating hearing your character use the phrase “Pray tell, kind sir” like 6 times in one sentence. An exaggeration, but you get the point. I hired Two Worlds from the local video store, along with Guitar Hero II (a winning game, deserved of it's 11/10 rating from XBox Magazine), and I played Two Worlds for as long as I could put up with it, so it would have a chance to prove it was a decent game. Someone give me those 25 minutes back please.
