Much more romance in the book than the movie, although the movie does a good job. I understand how many people who have read the books first are disapointed with the lack of romance in the movie. I don't think I have read a book with such romance in a very long time. I love everything about this book, I'm sure that every girl that has read this book is hoping for their very own Edward someday. I actually couldnt put the book down, it was an addition to my hand for two days untill I finished it, and New Moon took its place in my hands. I GARAUNTEE you will love this book.

Wait a minute… Weren't vampires supposed to be menacing? Don't be fooled, this is a terrible teen fiction about two college students in love, with no thrills, dull characters, and a meagre plot. Perhaps this is one that shouldn't be allowed outside during the day.

this book is so boring that even my MH lecture sounds exciting. compared to the movie its doesn't even make sense. buy the dvd instead.

Excellent character building had me gripped from the start. Very hard to put down. Highly recommend this book and the rest of the series.

When this first came out at the Movies I couldn't understand why people were rushing to borrow books from libraries and buy the books, but after being encouraged by friends to watch the movie, I have purchased all four. Special Price at the time of purchase meant that it cost me less for all four than buying the movie tickets!!!

Awesome book. Stephanie Meyer really takes you to Forks with the vivid description of the cold rainy atmosphere. You feel what Bella feels as she goes through this topsy turvy journey after meeting Edward. Romance, fear and teenage hormones all rolled into one book. Suitable for everyone and not overtly romantic or “mushy” like a lot of love stories. But certainly not your typical teen romance novel!

I have already read this, but didn't own it, and when I saw the opportunity to get the red-edged pages copy, I just had to give in and make the purchase! I was not disappointed. The book looks beautiful, exactly the same as the “normal” version, but I think the red definitely brings a new dimension to it. Very Gothic.

Definitely worth it.

This Book is just mind blowing. I can't think of a better way to put it. The romance is so beautiful in this book. I love twilight I dont think I can live without it " I Can't live in a world where Twilight Doesnt Exsist" i just cant get over twilight !!

The whole Twilight saga is amazing!! I can't see how anyone would not love it.

Vampires and romance are nothing new, but Twilight gives them enough of a twist to make it interesting. The film delivers enough on that twist to make it far better than its outlying plot makes it sound – but it is still the best movie I have seen so far.

I was convinced by a friend at work to give this ago & I'm glad I did it is quite enjoyable but still more for the girls the book is better than the movie so if you want to give one a go I would say read the book
