In addition to the resource information provided, the text includes an overview of Danish music and historical background on influential figures and musical developments.

Author Biography:

Lansing D. McLoskey is a scholar of contemporary Danish music, and has lectured and been awarded in recognition of his contributions to the field. He has studied at The Royal Danish Academy of Music, with Bo Holten, and the Danish vocal ensemble Ars Nova. As a composer he has been the recepient of several prestigious awards. Currently he is a Ph.D. candidate in music at Harvard University.
