Author Biography

Hugh Johnson is the world's best-selling writer on wine. With the publication of his first book, Wine, Hugh established himself at the age of 27 as the most refreshing and authoritative voice on the subject. During the past three decades he has repeatedly written books that have become landmarks in the subject, including his classic World Atlas of Wine, in its fourth edition, Wine Companion and Story of Wine. Photographer, Andy Katz has spent the last 20 years taking photographs in more than 80 countries. His photographs feature in many titles including A Portrait of the Napa and Sonoma , Vineyard and The Heart of Burgundy. His work is exhibited in numerous museums and galleries from New York to Tokyo.
