These are quite good headphones, the long battery life is great! Good sound.
I'd say 4 out of 5 for comfort. The mic monitoring on these is great as it doesn't pic up on everything in the room like some of their others do.
They don't block out heaps of noise though, so if someone is vacuuming… It will still annoy you lol.
With the ps4 this headset sounds awesome. The DTS 7.1 is truly spectacular.
The trick to listening these on DTS is to set the ps4 sound settings to 'dts
output '. They have different push button settings depending on how you want
your gaming experience to sound like.The basd and treble on these are deep and
crystal clear. These are very comfortable even after wearing them for 6 hours
at a time. They last on one charge for 15 to 17 hours depending on the
volume.
The mike boom is really flexible and team mates day they hear me very clearly
clearly. The only downside to these is that there is a slight humming noise when
there is no sound and it's to do with the mic boom. If you are playing solo,
switch off the mic and sound disappears. Small bug bear really considering all
of its good points. I also use them for listening to music and the sound output
is really, really good!!!
I have a slightly larger head and surprisingly I found these quite comfortable even after 3 hours of playing on PS3. The build quality is top notch and the surround sound is so awesome! I can hear people's footsteps sneaking up on me in game! A bit expensive but Mighty Ape has the cheapest price. PS3 only supports 5.1 but it will work other hardware and movies that support 7.1.
