Tuhonohono is the Maori word for 'weaving together'. This unique CD weaves the musical traditions of two distinct musical heritages through the shaping of improvisatory threads into a coherent musical whole. The ancient sounds of taonga puoro (traditional Maori instruments played by the foremost expert in this field, Richard Nunns) and piano (Judy Bailey)combine to create music that is reflective, playful and mysterious.
