Prescott, for heresy, and for performing Divine service in a manner not sanctioned by the law and usages of the Church. Upon this presentment, the Bishop, in accordance with the Canons of the Diocese, nominated nine Presbyters, from whom Mr. Prescott selected five, who were constituted the Court of Triers.
