I have mixed feelings about this book, but overall I like it. The mood is very light and there's lots of humour, making it a very enjoyable read. I found myself laughing out loud several times. Falcio has a great sense of humour and quite a bit of wit. However, what I found lacking was realism. The world is supposed to be very dismal and grim, but Falcio is a very idealistic guy who just … well, wouldn't actually survive in that sort of place. I found my suspension of disbelief being stretched a couple of times. But overall, it's still a fun read.
