Wow, wow and wow. I cannot believe this game, nor can I put it down. You just want to keep exploring, you just HAVE to keep exploring. It's amazing storyline will make sure you struggle to put it down late into the night.

Amazing breathtaking scenes merge seamlessly with cut scenes so much so that sometimes you stop playing only to discover Lara has stopped moving. Just enough action, the right amount of exploring and an open world feel that although it has linear components will allow you to go back to different areas and explore some more.

Simply put, if you like 3rd person action games with a thurst for exploring, and a need to kill some bad guys, then this is the one for you. I can easily see myself playing this through a second time.

Never tried this game before, then just get it and try it, I guarantee 9 out of 10 will just love it and never want to do anything else again.

Oh is that the time already- Oh well, I've give it another 5 more minutes…not.

I picked this game up as part of a bundle and initially ho-hummed over playing it as I remembered playing some of the older tomb raider games and the frustration that goes with them.

It's an intense story that draws you in as you watch Lara arrive on the island and along with the survivors from the shipwreck try to survive and escape. Spliced with dozens of short clips, covering everything from Lara squeezing through cracks in rocks to using a small hand held survival radio. There's also a rich side storyline, with diary pages and notes left by previous island inhabitants which provides back story and a few hints about the island itself.

Unlike some puzzle games which give little to no help when you get stuck, you can use Lara's survival instincts to pick out vital clues or that one thing that makes the whole puzzle fall into place. Taking the time to explore your surrounding also gives you an advantage, with upgradable weapons and some classic tomb raider style tombs to explore and, well, raid.

Lara has finally made her belated return after a long hiatus leaving many great games eg: Uncharted, Assassins Creed to take the action adventure throne..

This game is Lara's origin story showing her metomorphasis from a younger, more inexperienced woman to the hardened, iconic bad-ass we know and love nowadays.

The story of Tomb Raider is intense, engaging and delivers some serious heart-felt and emotional scenes. The location is set on a mysterious island in Japan which is brought to life with it's exquisite graphics and some outstanding level design.

The gameplay is varied, unreleting and never lets up or makes you feel bored. There are tombs to be raided, plenty of trinkits to collect and some breathtaking levels for you to explore.

This is the Tomb Raider game everyone has been waiting and this certainly does not dissapoint. Lara is back to with a vengance and has proved that she can play with the big boys like Nathan Drake, Ezio Auditore and the like.

Buy it, experience it, and you will soon see that a survivor has indeed been born =)

Get it now! The most engaging game I have played for years. The emotion along with the good story is just fantastic. So hard to stop playing once you start.

Amazing. I thought the genre was stale, but this game has revitalised action adventure massively. It's just so good. Great tension, edge of the seat thrills, good scripting (mostly) and great characterisations.

Got this for my partner as she loves Lara. So far shes loving it, great graphics and story.

I'm enjoying this so much I'm having another go. Lara is a lot more interesting in this version, a good storyline helps and then the collectables make it worth continuing.

If you love Tomb Raider, you will love this addition to the franchise! I am enjoying it thoroughly!

So many hours of excellent game play one of the best games ive played for awhile and easily in my top 3 action adventure games of all that ive played, highly recommended for anyone who enjoys an all round quality action/ adventure game

People who are tomb raider fans should buy this game as it is the best one yet and has amazing graphics , go on buy it

Was a big fan of the original series released back in the 90's and this game was not a disappointment! Good story line and plenty of puzzles to frustrate, but overall fun, I especially liked the close range executions with the various weapons. Great graphics, good gameplay and some challenging parts that lead to frustration. If you were a fan of the original game you'll love this

When I saw that this was given away with the 4gb Xbox 360 bundle I initially turned it down after seeing it was alongside Halo 4(an absolute let down) But a few years later I found myself in possession of this game and decided to play it

It has an intriguing story, beautiful graphics and well thought out characters; making it an amazing game that I would highly recommend

Punchy, exiting and amazing. Has a great story line I had very high expectations and Lara croft tomb raider more then fulfilled them. Highly recommend this game.

Amazing game with an engrossing storyline, interesting characters, a massive yet controlled map, exciting fight scenes and beautiful graphics. The voice acting is also great – so much so that it's difficult to keep in mind that it's not real. It's very easy to care about the characters.

I've started measuring all other games against it. Only thing that's come close in terms of how interesting the game is and how good the controls are is AC4: Black Flag.

I've played it twice since the beginning of the month and I plan to play it again soon!

This is such a great game, is let you feel thrilled, amazed, and surprise this is the best tomb raider game ive ever played, its similar to Far Cry 3. if you like Adventure games, Games with bows and arrows, skills this is a great game to buy. and if your like me you would love playing games online which this games also has, I would rate this game a 10 out of 10 which is you must get and try it

Brought this for my partner for a present is an amazing game. The game was here just days after ordering and was cheaper then in stores every.

Crystal Dynamics have done a fantastic job crafting Lara Crofts origin story. A wonderfully written script, huge set pieces and extremely satisfying gameplay come together to make one of the best games of this console generation. The only downside is that the gameplay is sometimes at odds with the story that is being told but you quickly learn to overlook this as you guide Lara from being stranded and helpless to a ruthless survivor.

My only query why is there a hunting element in the game- Wouldn't it make more sense that Lara would hunt for food to replenish lost stamina or health. I say this because I'm 50% through the game but found no use to hunt any animals.

Anyways best Action Adventure I've played 9/10

I must admit that i was surprised by this game. I wasnt expecting a lot, even after all the great reviews it got. But its actually amazing. It has a great storyline and the game play is well thought out. It has all the classic stuff you like from the old games like finding treasures and collecting new weapons. But adds some great new features. The only think i dont like is every now and then it has these slow-mo bits where you have to puch the displayed button at the right time. But apart from that its a great game with stunning graphics.

Pretty easy to clock the game if you just stick to the main missions but have done only on Easy so far so the bosses were pretty hard. ps. Not doing to bad considering I have beaten my son in percentage for the whole game.

The game had a breathtaking background and detail, and the cut scenes did merge with the game play very well. Only issue I had was the whining that Lara kept on making , which may make her sound more human, but sometimes distracted me from the game. The escape from grip controls are a little buggy, and the ending could have been a little more dramatic. Total single player game play is short , but eventful.

Tomb Raider is a fantastic, refreshing game. I'd go on and on, but I bothered enough to even write something about this game and that goes to show how much of a “wow” factor this game delivered.

If you loved Far Cry 3 and Uncharted 1–3…Tomb Raider is basically those two rolled into one and much MORE! It's Square-Enix so you KNOW the story is going to deliver, and it DOES.

Too bad about the sales though: it's such a wonderful game and it deserves way more purchases.

If you bypass the permanent squint on Lara's face you will find that this game is simply perfect! There is a dissonance between game play and graphics but it can be ignored in face of the plot and the gameplay.

Never play the old ones so I thought what the heck lets but it. And have to agree cannot stop playing just another 15mins turns into an hour oops. But yes great Tomb Raider game from getting ship wrecked on island to finding hidden tombs, treasure maps and most of all the action very fluid and striking cut scene's the whole game is TOP notch from start to end so what are you waiting for get exploring

Its worth every penny.

Great platform game with fun exploring, good to see Tomb Raider back in form.

The best game i've played in over a year better than Halo 4 or Devil May Cry every single moment is epic and the graphics are spectacular.
