DELUXE VINYL EDITION!!!
On 25th July 1980 AC/DC released their seventh studio album, Back In Black. Long recognised as one of the most significant rock albums ever, Back In Black still remains the second bestselling record of all time – with only the behemoth that is Michael Jackson’s Thriller selling more copies.
In support of the album, AC/DC embarked on the mammoth Back In Black tour, playing more than 140 shows worldwide over 13 months. The live show presented on this deluxe vinyl release was taken from the Japanese leg of the tour, performed at the Nippon Seinenkan in Tokyo on 5th February 1981. Broadcast across FM radio in superb audio quality, and featuring a number of tracks from the new album – such as ‘Hells Bells’, ‘Back In Black’ and ‘You Shook Me All Night Long’ – alongside many older favourites, this performance captures an extraordinary group at a point in their history when they couldn’t afford to put a foot wrong, something this release now emphatically proves that they didn’t.
