Magic has returned to the world with devastating results. Strange animals thought to have been extinct are appearing and terrorizing villages. Criminals have taken advantage of this and crime has skyrocketed as soldiers deal with the threat of the new creatures. Behind the scenes, our heroes split into two groups in order to seek the one responsible for all of this chaos and to find the missing human prince. This journey takes them deep into the elven jungles and swamps, far into the human plains and forests, and even beyond the borders of either nation. What they discover will forever change their view of the world they live in, as well as their understanding of this new phenomenon known as magic.
