Preaching might appear to be an outmoded means of communication at the beginning of the twenty-first century, yet Christian men and women continue to testify that God has called them to do it! For some, this is part of a wider calling to ordained ministry, but for others it is a calling in itself. Michael J. Townsend is an ordained Christian minister who has been a preacher for over forty years. He is currently Superintendent of Grimsby & Cleethorpes Methodist Circuit.
