Best played with as little light as possible. Its basically a hide and seek game, one player is the lantern, and the rest are trying to find a way to get all their pieces together in one place.
The rules on movement of the shadows is very vague but make sense when the game is running.
Its strategy is deeper then one would expect, and great as a family game, but the game is not really that enjoyable for little kids, 8yr+ is a pretty accurate recommendation, as the nuance of the game is lost on little ones, and not that enjoyable.
But for bigger kids, and adults its a fun addition to ones collection.
