Author Biography:

Teresa Hawk lives in a "classified" location in Nevada where she weaves an endless parade of colorful characters into macabre tales that keep readers up all night. As a child, timeless reruns of The Twilight Zone and Alfred Hitchcock Presents served as her black and white babysitter. Her early literary influences included Stephen King and Edgar Allan Poe. At age twelve, she wrote her first horror story on wide-ruled notebook paper with a No. 2 pencil. As it circulated, she found the horrified reactions of teachers combined with the squealing delight of her peers to be powerfully addicting. She has been writing ever since. Over the course of her career, she has been a technical writer, published academic and copy editor. Now, building on those literary skills, she chooses to inject her dark humor and twisted imagination of the weird, surreal and grotesque into gritty, character-driven fiction. She has published several short stories in weird anthologies and fringe magazines. Currently, she's working on her space horror novel The One and the dystopian Nevadaland series. Her horror novella Magnitude will release spring 2017. Find out more at tnkaylor.com
