When a series returns after so many years it's hard not to feel a little wary, but no problems here, The X Files Event Series provides much more than expected, with the disappointment of series eight and nine soon forgotten. The best series I've seen in a long long time, with only a couple of “why did they do that-” moments.
If you're up to fate with the X-files movies then the characters fully developed have almost come full circle. Strong personalities drive the new series to great heights. The core characters are here with a couple of surprises. There is a sadness with Mulder and Scully you will see with an underlying subplot i hope will come in season 2 of this super revival.
