Witcher 2 Xbox 360 previews

The witcher is one the best rpgs ever, up there with the elder scrolls and baldurs gate, and unlike dragon age 2 it isn't a polished turd. One of the best aspects of the game is the plot choices, unlike in some games the witcher 2 actually makes it hard to choose between the multiple options. This also adds to its replay value.

As you all know, this games is released on April 19, 2012 which is on a Thursday. And I am writing this review on Monday, April 16 but guess what, I WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME NOW !

You know why- For starters, I have watched the first 20 minutes or so of this game and just judging by that, a few opinions from (original PC) gamers (albeit biased but I'll buy into them anyway), a good mix of trailers as well as early reviews, I must say right now that we have an RPG Game of the Year 2012.

However, I must warn those who haven't at least played (like me) the Witcher 1 to read the Blood of Elves in order that you become more familiar with this game's world and characters. In fact just by reading the book, I think I already know some of the choices that I will make during gameplay. And to answer your question, yes, The Witcher 2 is open-ended in a way that from what I've heard, you'll at least miss 30% of the whole game in every playthrough.

If you think you have what it takes to get involved with The Witcher 2's political intrigues, corruption, violence and racism then I suggest that you add this game to your trolley and confirm the order NOW !

The witcher 2 is a good game and has set the bar higher for WRPGs, it is however superior on the PC as we all know consoles use hardware that is 9 years old.

it can't even utilise DX11 (xbox and ps3 stuck with dx9)

i would advise getting on pc as the enchanced edition is just a free patch for pc if you have the witcher , and of course it looks MUCH better on PC.

but aside from PC master race always getting the iceing on their cake this game alone is amazing.
