Description

Sunny's life is carefree and happy until Gray's Bentley breaks down outside her parents' cottage in Rushington, after which nothing is the same. It appears that this rich, handsome older man has fallen in love with her Certainly her friend Arietta is sure that he has, but when Gray's friend Leandra asks Sunny to lunch to tell her as much, Sunny remains unconvinced. rietta cannot wait to leave Rushington to work in London for an elderly socialite. Meanwhile Sunny has become engaged to Gray and is once again happy and carefree, until Arietta through the auspices of the cookshop, discovers the reality behind Gray's proposa. Unable to tell her friend the truth, Arietta canonly hope that Sunny will discover it for herself, and throw Gray over before it is too late.

Author Biography

Charlotte Bingham comes from a literary family - her father sold a story to H. G.
