This is a great book. Children love spotting where that cheeky fantail is going to turn up next. The bright colours and wide range of native animals makes this traditional song even more interesting.

Sent to my brothers daughter in USA. Such a hit and love the kiwiana style
My boy love this book so much! He read it everyday times by times, he never gets tired of it. It is his favourite book and song.
My 19mth old grandson loves the fantail but as well there is so much to see on each page.
Great adaptation of the wheels on the bus using NZ animals, awesome opportunity to introduce the kids to NZ native animals.
A classic song with wonderful illustrations. My 2 yr old love hunting for all the fantail and other native animals- which look realistic. This book has been well and truly loved.
My 18 month old grandson received this book for his first Christmas from his New Zealand Great-gran. I was lucky enough to visit the wee man in London a few months ago and it is his favourite book, and he has many. I think I read the book at least 6 times each day when I was staying with the family and when we are on Skype it is always the book he brings to the screen for Grandma to read. I have ordered my own copy to read to all my future grand children and know it will be greatly enjoyed.
This book is good if you have family over seas in Aussie or somewhere else
My kids enjoy reading this book and seeing all the different animals.
As a kindergarten Teacher I am always on the look out for quality children's storybooks and was not disappointed in this delightful book. When I read it to the children they were engaged with the familiar rhythm of a well loved story combined with pictures of well known kiwi characters, calling out the names of animals and birds that they knew. A great buy! Completely recommended!
This is a wonderful take on a children's old favourite. The colours in the drawings are wonderful as are the number of things going on. The children just love to find all the different animals, fish and birds as they sing along.
As an expat Kiwi I love this book especially for the classic gorgeous Kiwiana illustrations.
