2015 Reprint of 1961 Edition. Full Facsimile of the original edition. Not reproduced with Optical Recognition Software. The "Wealth of Nations" remains to this day the foundation document for Economic theory in the West. In this edited and annotated edition noted historian Bruce Mazlish renders the original edition more accessible by editing and annotating it for the modern reader. The original two volumes are condensed into a manageable volume of 300 plus pages, making it accessible to students not able to wade into the cumbersome original text. All the while, the essential learning of the original edition is not lost; merely rendered more accessible.
