Author Biography:

Jessica Grimsley is the author of The Unwonted Heroes, her debut novel and the first in the Heroes series. Blending her love of fast-paced action adventure and sci-fi mystery, Jessica's protagonist explores her relationships in challenging situations and times. A Tae Kwon Do black belt and enrolled nurse who's been writing since she was 11, Jessica's writing draws on experiences of her childhood growing up in air force bases across Australia. Passionate about the challenges faced by returning war veterans she lives in Queensland's Fraiser Coast with her family, beloved German Shephard and assistance dog-in-training.
