Description

This book is a diplomatic history of relations between the US and Cambodia from the Vietnam war to Clinton's visit there in the late 1990s. Based upon detailed archival research, this is the most comprehensive account of the United States' troubled relationship with Cambodia and will be of enormous interest to scholars in Southeast Asia, US diplomatic history and US foreign policy.

Author Biography:

Kenton Clymer is Chair of the History Department at Northern Illinois University, USA and was formerly Professor of History at the University of Texas at El Paso, USA. He is the author of Quest for Freedom: The United States and India’s Independence (1995) and other books that focus on American relations with Asia.
